Seattle Transformed into Sea of Blue and Green as Hundreds of Thousands Celebrate Seahawks’ Super Bowl Win

Seattle fans turned out in massive numbers to celebrate the Seahawks’ Super Bowl LX victory, as a championship parade brought the city to a standstill on Wednesday. An estimated crowd of nearly one million “12s” lined the streets of downtown, marking the franchise’s second Lombardi Trophy in a celebration that mirrored the historic 2014 victory.

The festivities kicked off with a sold-out trophy presentation at Lumen Field, where players and coaches reflected on their 29–13 win over the New England Patriots. Head coach Mike Macdonald and stars like Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Kenneth Walker III—the game’s MVP—received thunderous ovations before the team boarded double-decker buses for a two-mile procession along 4th Avenue.

The atmosphere was electric as players frequently hopped off their vehicles to high-five fans, sign autographs, and even share a few celebratory drinks with the crowd. City officials noted that the event provided a rare moment of total unity for the region, with local transit agencies running extra services to accommodate the sea of fans who traveled from across the Pacific Northwest to witness the historic moment.
