A community is in mourning after a teenager was shot and killed outside a sporting goods store in Renton on Friday evening.
The incident occurred around 7:45 p.m. in the parking lot of the Big 5 Sporting Goods located near the Renton Landing. According to the Renton Police Department, officers arrived to find a 17-year-old male suffering from critical gunshot wounds. Despite life-saving efforts by first responders, the teen died at the scene.
