Tours Provide Individualised Views of Seattle
When we travel,Guest Posting it’s always fun to look into the different tours that are available of the cities we visit. There are tours in many cities that are essentially universal. However, Seattle, Washington, is distinct from most other cities. They not only offer tours that are truly unmatched anywhere else on the planet, but they also offer tours that are delightfully enjoyable and entertaining in and of themselves.
Ride the Ducks of Seattle is one of the most interesting and well-liked tours of Seattle. This tour gives you a fantastic overview of Seattle from land and water while transporting you around the city in amphibious World War Two vehicles. The tour, which lasts about 90 minutes, is unlike any other tour you’re likely to take in the future.
My favourite land excursion is a tie between the second tour of interest and another tour. I’ll tell you about both in the hopes that you’ll decide which one you prefer after trying them both. The phrase “Bill Speidel’s Underground Tour” would apply here. This tour is odd, funny, and enjoyable all at once. It is shocking and unsettling in various ways as well. For those unfamiliar with the tale, the discovery that the original city is not in ruins makes the notion that a city was essentially built on top of itself even stranger. The telling of the story is even better than the story itself. This tour’s only downside is that young kids might find it boring, disturbing, or both. Thus, be ready to amuse. If you have very small children, the terrain is also unsuitable for strollers.
The tour I like best after that is called Private Eye Tours. You will visit crime scenes throughout the city, some of which have been solved and some of which have not. There are three tours available right now. With the exception of the ghost tour, which lasts three hours, each one costs $25 per person and lasts for about two and a half hours. The three different tours are Haunted Happenings, also known as the Seattle Ghost Tour, The Queen Anne Mystery and Murder Tour, and The Capital Hill Mystery and Murder Tour. For those who are not afraid of blood or guts, each of these tours is a lot of fun and a wonderful present for a lover of true crime or those vintage detective novels.
There are several excursions you can take if whale watching is something you’re interested in. First off, if you watch from the western side of the San Juan Islands during the peak of the season (June and July), you have a great chance of seeing whales. This is likely the best method for viewing whales from the ground. In addition, there are numerous guided whale-watching excursions available. San Juan Safaris, Salish Sea Charters, Island Adventures (this tour offers a discount for early birds and they offer a whale spotting guarantee), and Maya’s Whale Watching Charters are a few of the businesses that offer whale watching cruises. For a slightly higher price, you get a much smaller boat and are placed much closer to the water for a better view of the whales.
