Five people, including four students and a security officer, were injured during a stabbing at Foss High School in Tacoma on Thursday afternoon. The violence reportedly broke out around 1:35 p.m. following a physical altercation on the school grounds.
Law enforcement officials confirmed that the suspect, who is also a student at the school, was taken into custody and treated for injuries sustained during the event. While the victims were initially listed in critical condition, medical personnel later updated their status to stable.
Key details from the incident include:
- Motive Under Investigation: While police are still investigating the formal cause, some parents and students suggested the fight may have been triggered by a dispute over a vape battery.
