Neglected Dogs Rescued in Kittitas County Animal Abuse Probe

Two dogs are now in safe hands after being removed from a home in Kittitas County following reports of severe neglect. The investigation began last Wednesday when sheriff’s deputies were called to a residence on Wilson Creek Road to investigate allegations of animal cruelty.

Upon arrival, deputies discovered the dogs confined in an area where they had no access to water. After interviewing the owner and reviewing the animals’ medical records and history, authorities consulted with local veterinarians and secured a search warrant.

By the following day, the dogs were legally seized and taken to a veterinary clinic for emergency evaluation. Medical professionals confirmed that both animals were suffering from malnourishment and required immediate care. While the investigation into the owner’s conduct is currently ongoing, no formal charges have been filed yet.
